Hello everyone, my name is Penny. I'm a busy mother and part-time dietitian, and when I'm not running around with my kids, I like to research the best foods and products for them. I was shocked to learn that over 14 million tons of microplastics end up on our ocean floors every year. Microplastics are infiltrating our ecosystem and contaminating the food and water that we and our children consume every day.

To do my part in combatting this issue, I started to clean up my home and adopt a minimalist lifestyle. But I realized that only impacted a few people. What about the earth that my children must live in? As a health and beauty products are a major contributor to microplastic waste, I felt compelled to create a personal care brand that truly cares about reducing plastic use and giving back to the environment.

As a first-generation Korean American, I'm thrilled that our company, Tidalove, is part of the growing trend of K-beauty and doesn't add to the plastic waste problem in America, where my kids call home. I hope you'll join us on our journey to create a better world for our future generations. Together, we can make a difference one product at a time.
