Mineral support for your enamel.
Our 5% nano-hydroxyapatite (nHAp) is an enamel-like mineral studied for supporting remineralization. Research at this concentration has shown benefits for restoring mineral to early enamel lesions and reducing mineral loss.
We pair it with xylitol, zinc citrate and selected organic botanicals as part of a complete daily brushing formula.
We use rod-shaped nHAp. The SCCS has assessed specific forms of this material as safe for toothpaste use within defined particle specifications and concentrations.

For those who choose fluoride

Fluoride is the most established cavity-prevention active.
Fluoride helps strengthen enamel and supports remineralization in the early stages of tooth decay. Our fluoride formula provides approximately 1450 ppm fluoride, within the common over-the-counter fluoride range used in adult toothpastes, and pairs it with 5% nHAp.
Tidalove also offers a fluoride-free formula with 5% nHAp. We make the formula choice clear so you can choose the routine that fits you.

Peppermint and other flavor oils make brushing feel fresh. Organic grape seed and apple extracts bring a botanical layer, alongside vitamins C, E and B6 and bamboo salt. We choose organic ingredients wherever suitable options are available.

1. Najibfard et al. (2011) — Remineralization of early caries by a nano-hydroxyapatite dentifrice. In situ study in 30 adults; 5% and 10% nHAp products showed mineral gain without a significant between-product difference.
2. Amaechi et al. (2025) — Evaluation of the Efficacy of a Dentifrice Tablet to Prevent Dental Caries: A Microbial Study. Laboratory study of a 5% nHAp tablet using bovine enamel.
3. Huang et al. (2009) — Effect of nano-hydroxyapatite concentration on remineralization of initial enamel lesion in vitro. Laboratory concentration comparison; favored 10% under its test conditions.

The references explore nHAp concentration, enamel remineralization, demineralization and ingredient safety using the formulations and methods described in each study. The SCCS assessment applies to uncoated, non-surface-modified rod-shaped particles with the dimensions specified in its opinion: at least 87% by number with aspect ratio ≤3 and remaining particles ≤9.
